Distance Seminar

The Agility Facility

presents

A Gamblers Seminar with

IFCS World Team member Jeannette Hutchison!

Tails U Win Manchester, CT-February 23/24, 2013

Does your dog have trouble working away from you? Do you panic when the whistle blows?  Jeannette’s tremendously popular Gamblers seminar can help!  Jeannette is a many time world team member and multiple time USDAA National Championship finalist.  For her complete bio please visit www.cdogrunagility.com

The purpose of this seminar is to lay a foundation to create a dog and handler team with the ability to consistently perform a sequence of obstacles at a distance. Some of the topics and exercises will be:

·         what turns your dog, and the ability to redirect

·         independent obstacle performance & adding distance to that performance

·         does your dog understand your handling?

·         timing of your info to your dog

·         your dog’s response to your obedience commands

·         creating an opening plan- where were you when the whistle blew?

·         the mental game, building in a safety plan, and the ability to recover

Please come with an open mind and be ready to try new things!  This is a 2 day seminar that is progressive. This isn’t a seminar to teach you how to play Gamblers but rather to lay the foundation to handle your dog from a distance.

Cost is $350 for 2 days
Auditing is $75/day

Open to Agility Facility Students on January 14, 2013 at 9am
Open to the public on January 18, 2013 at 9am
